Are your children being approached by child molesters?

Do they quickly close windows when you enter the room?

As a Parent, it is YOUR responsibility to protect them!

EBlaster is a valuable tool that every parent needs to let you know exactly what your children are doing on the computer by recording just about everything that happens on the computer including, e-mails, Instant Messages, web sites visited, files downloaded, keystrokes typed and programs used.

EBlaster then puts that information into an easy to read activity report, and automatically sends it to you in an email as often as you choose.

I have used eBlaster when my kids were teenagers, and it performed flawlessly to keep me informed, and my children accountable.

To help you get started protecting your children online, here is a tutorial on how to install and set up the program.

When you order eBlaster, it comes in the mail on a CD.

Pop that CD in the computer that you wish to monitor, and the installation program will automatically start.

The first thing you need to do, is agree to install the program only on a computer that you own. This program is not for spying on another person’s computer. Then you need to accept the license agreement.

Next, eBlaster needs your email address and the serial number that came with the CD. It is probably on the envelope that the CD came in.

The next step is to enter the email address that you want the activity reports sent to. If you plan to monitor the computer from multiple places, you might want to open a web-based email account for this. Then you can access it from any computer with Internet access.

Now, you will enter a password for the program, and you can customize the keyboard shortcut for accessing eBlaster. You can leave the keyboard shortcut the way it is, but I would suggest that you change one element of the shortcut so that it will be harder for kids to access the program.

The install program will ask you if you want to receive express delivery of IM and chat messages. I would leave that off, because it will greatly increase the number of email reports you receive.

Sit back and relax a few moments while the program installs, when it is finished, you will be asked if you want to remove the installation files.  I would suggest you remove them.

Now the installation is finished, you will be prompted to remove the CD, and then click “Finish” to restart the computer.

When the computer has restarted, try out your key combination and password to access the eBlaster control panel. Here you can change or fine tune the many options available to you.

I always let my children know that there is monitoring software on the computer. It gives them fair warning, and works to keep them accountable for their actions.

Occasionally, the kids will think they are pretty smart, and try to get rid of the program by running a system restore. You can prevent them from doing this, by removing all the restore points created before you installed eBlaster. Here is how:

Click on “Start” then right click on “My Computer” and click on “Properties” in the drop down menu.

In the Properties window, click on the “System Restore” tab and click to put a check mark in front of “Turn off System Restore”. Click “Apply”, then “Yes”.

This will delete all the previous restore points. When the hourglass disappears, you can turn System Restore back on by clicking to uncheck the “Turn off System Restore” option and click “OK” to save your changes and close the window.

Protecting your children is your primary concern. Would you let them speak on the phone for an hour with a complete stranger? Of course not. So, why would you let them chat online with a stranger without knowing the content of the conversation? With eBlaster, you will know the content of ALL their chats and instant messages, whether you are at home, at work, or thousands of miles away. You'll be in a position to stop danger dead in its tracks long before it has a chance to cause real harm.
