How To Check Carbonite

I know you support Carbonite b/up and recovery SW. I have been using it with Windows 8.1.

How can I be sure it is backing up my 6,000 Plus songs in my iTunes database library, as well as approx 100 playlists?

I thank you in advance for any info.

I love your newsletter….! Arline 🙂

Dear Arline,

It is actually very simple to check your files and be sure they are being backed up.

Simply go to the Carbonite website and log in with your username and password.

(If you can’t remember your username and password, don’t worry, there is a link just beneath the log in box for you)

Once you log in, you will see a status of your backup, including the date of your last backup (it should be the current date). There is a link below the date of your last backup that says, “View files” just click on that link and you can look at all the files you have backed up.

You can also access those files on your iPhone or iPad by installing the Carbonite app.
