[ad]Dear Computer Lady,
I have a Sony Vaio laptop using Vista. I have a DVD of a wedding ceremony and I want to make some copies. How do I do this?
You need three things in order to make copies of your DVD.
You need a DVD burner on your laptop. (most computers include this)
You need blank DVDs, make sure you have the right size for your project. DVD-R disks come in single layer (4GB) and dual layer (8GB).
You need the right software. I use Roxio Creator NXT for creating and copying optical disks.
You also need to make sure that you can legally copy the disk.
Once you have everything you need, you simply open Roxio, click the “Copy Disk” icon, then choose your source (the original disk) and where you want to copy it to. You can use the same drive to copy from and to, the program will prompt you to remove your source disk and insert the blank disk.
If you decide to get Roxio Creater, feel free to use the following link, and coupon code, 10ROXIOSAVE. You will save 10% off your order, and support this newsletter (which I appreciate *smile*).
It’s Your Turn: What do you think?
