[ad]Dear Computer Lady,
I have a quick question about deleting old e-mails.
I have an HP Windows 7 computer and I have gotten extremely behind on old e-mails.
Is there a way to delete them all at once instead of individually, as that would take a really long time?
I have a new ASUS Windows 8 computer that I am trying to learn about and do not want to carry all those old e-mails over to it by keeping my same e-mail address.
Really want to keep my same address, as have had the same one for years.
Any suggestions? Wanda from Maine.
Since you sent me this message from a yahoo email address, I am going to guess that you are asking about your yahoo email account and answer for that program.
When you view your list of messages in Yahoo, there is a row across the top with icons for delete, move, spam and more. To the left of these icons is a small check box. When you click in that check box, you automatically select all messages.
Once you have selected all messages, you can click on the little trash can for “Delete” and quickly delete all your messages.
Hope this helps.
