Dear Computer Lady,
Could you please tell me how to have a returned receipts requested after mailing a windows live mail?
When you are composing an email with Windows Live Mail, you can request a read receipt before you send the message.
A read receipt will notify you when the recipient of your message opens the message.
When you are creating your message in Windows Live Mail, make sure you have the “Message” tab selected in the ribbon, and in the “Delivery” section, click to put a check mark in front of “Read Receipt”.
Send your message as usual, and you should get a short message telling you when your recipient has opened your email.
It’s Your Turn: What do you think?
