Dear Computer Lady,
I have an HP split 13×2 (13-m110dx) computer with a 128gb SSD.
Can i put a bigger SSD in it?
I think I read somewhere that it would not recognize anything bigger than 128gb.
Alan
Dear Alan,
I did a little research and found that this is a slightly older laptop running Windows 8.
I did find a limit on the amount of RAM your computer can support. It came with 4GB and the maximum is 8GB.
I don’t believe, however that there is a limit on the size of the solid state hard drive. The only thing you want to be careful about is the physical size and shape of the drive, and the type of connection. Not all SSDs are the same size, shape and connection.
