How To Listen To Random Songs

Dear Computer Lady,

I would like to know how to put mp3 songs on a flash drive so that they play back in random order.

I’ve tried to use random in mmp to no avail.

thanks, Bob

Dear Bob,

Playing music files in random order is not a function of how the files are stored on either your flash drive or any other storage media. Playing your music files in random order is done by your music playing software.

I am not familiar with a music software called, mmp, in fact, I googled it and did not find anything, so I can’t give you step by step directions.

You should be able to look for a setting called, “shuffle” in most music players. Turning on the “shuffle” setting will set your music to play in a random order.
