Download Graphic

Dear Computer Lady,

I downloaded the trial AVG Professional Single Edition to my computer.  During the 1 1/2 hour download there is a graphic on the top that shows a paper flying through the air into a folder. When the paper reached the folder there was a red star that flashed onto the folder.  After the 1 1/2 hours there was the message that the download was completed and I could install it, which I did.  Does that red flashing star in the graphic mean the download had a problem? The AVG 7.0 is listed on the program list in the control panel so I sort of feel everything is ok. Thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate it.

Dear Carol,

The graphic that you see when downloading a file is just a picture, put there to entertain the user while waiting for a download. It also serves as a reminder that the computer is still in the process of downloading. Nothing about the graphic will tell you anything about the download taking place.

You can be sure that your download is good, especially since the program is installed and working.
