Dear Computer Lady:

My question and resolve may be easier for one like you,but I am a novice and of the older generation. My question is, how do I increase the font on my screen so I don’t have to use a magnifying glass to read all the print that appears as I move from one site to another…I haven’t used a magnifying glass yet though.

I have the Vista…I think.

Thank you, GOD bless you and yours on this CHRISTmas Holiday and New year, too
Sincerely,

Joe

Dear Joe,

Since you mentioned moving from one site to another, I am going to guess that you are talking about websites, and therefore are having this problem when you are online.

I am also going to guess that you are using Internet Explorer to view the websites.

Fortunately, there is an easy way to make the font on websites larger in Internet Explorer. Here is how…

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. In the bottom, right corner of your internet explorer window, you will notice a little magnifying glass with 100% next to it.

3. Click once on that magnifying glass and the size will increase to 125%.

4. Click again for 150%.

5. Or, click on the triangle to the left of the number, and you will be able to select from a list of settings all the way from 50% up to 400%.

What about just holding down “control” and “+”?
