Dear Computer Lady,
My question is about Zip Files.
I downloaded a free Bible audio file which appears as a Zip File. I don’t know what to do next.
It opens a menu of a bunch of choices to extract, add, view, etc.
I just need to know how to listen and eventually transfer to my ipod.
Thank you in advance for your help.
When files have been compacted into a Zip file, you just need to extract them before you can use them.
When you click on the file, just select the “Extract” option, and your computer will create a folder with the same name as your file. Once the files have been extracted, you can delete the original zipped file (or save it in case you ever need it again).
Now, open the folder that was created when you extracted the files, and you will be able to listen to them, or import them into iTunes so that you can listen on your iPod.
It’s Your Turn: What do you think?
