Dear Computer Lady,
First of all I want to think for all your help. You make things seem so simple.
Could you please tell me the difference between an IPod an I Pad.
I didn’t know hardly anything about this computer stuff until I started reading your letters. Now I know enough to get by and still learning thanks to you.
I would appreciate it if you could straightened me out on this.
Thank you, Lin
Dear Lin,
An iPod is a small device for playing music, and Apple has several different styles of iPods. Most of them are very tiny, and their only function is playing music.
However, one of the styles is an iPod touch. The iPod Touch is about the size of an iPhone and is capable of doing just about everything than an iPad can do, but it does it on a much smaller screen.
The iPad is a tablet device, which now comes in two sizes. Just like the iPhone and iPod Touch, the iPad can surf the web, take and store photos, organize your life with a calendar, contacts and task lists, store and play your music, and run any of the many apps available for these devices.
I hope this helps you understand the difference between these devices.
Elizabeth
