Dear Computer Lady,
My Kindle Fire has this row of icons with apps that I have used recently. Sometimes this is convenient, but often, it is filled with icons that I don’t really want to go back to.
How do I get rid of the icons that I don’t want in that row?
I’m pretty sure you are talking about the carousel. It is a row of shortcuts to all the places you have been on your KF.
If you want to remove an item from your carousel, just tap and hold your finger on the item until a small context menu appears. The two items on the menu will be, “Add to Favorites” or “Remove from Carousel”.
Tap on “Remove from Carousel” and it will be removed.
It’s Your Turn: What do you think?
