Word Document Shortcut

Dear Computer Lady.

You have helped me so much with your information, but I have a question.

I have a very long document in Word that I add to daily and would like to reverse the order so that I don’t have to scroll down so far each day.

Can you tell me how to do that? Thank you, Judie

Dear Judie,

While I can’t really tell you a way to reverse the order of your Word document without a lot of copy and pasting, I can tell you a great shortcut to quickly get to the end of your document.

1. Open your word document

2. When the document has loaded, hold down the Ctrl key and then press the End key on your keyboard.

3. This will instantly take you to the end of your document.

If you are having trouble locating these keys, the Ctrl key is on the bottom row of your keyboard, there are actually two of them, one on each end.
The End key is located above the arrow keys on the right hand side of your keyboard. Usually between the regular keys on the left, and then number keypad on the right.

The only way I know to get to the end of a document without scrolling all the way down is to hold down the Ctrl key and hit the End key. That will take you to the end of your document.
