Organizing OneNote Pages

[ad]Dear Computer Lady,

I have been saving recipes and diy projects in Microsoft OneNote 2010 and was wondering if in those notebooks…is there a way to alphabetize them?

It would make it handier…thanks, Judy

Dear Judy,

There is not a way to automatically alphabetize the pages in your notebooks.

You can, however drag to tabs for the pages into any order that you desire.

You can also group pages together. Right click on a page, and click, “Make Subpage” to nest the page under the page above it.

Once you have created subpages, they can be hidden or revealed by clicking the arrow to the right of the page tab.

The Sort feature is not provided by MS. Can’t imagine why not, but there you are.

However, there are addons that can allow you to do sorting. This discussion has links to a couple (you can google for more):
