Dear Computer Lady,
I have used the Quicken program for years to keep track of my checkbook registry. Wondering if there is a free program that will let me do that?
I only use the program to double check my registry, don’t use it to communicate with a bank to do any transactions.
Thanks for any help you can give me. Geraldine
Dear Geraldine,
If you have Microsoft Excel installed on your computer, you can actually use that program to double check your registry. You don’t even have to set it up yourself since Microsoft has a checkbook register template on their website.
If you don’t own Microsoft Office, the free LibreOffice program also has a checkbook register template.

These simple spreadsheet templates should do exactly what you are looking for.
