Dear Computer Lady,
How can I quickly set the password on my computer when I walk away from my desk for a few minutes? It is time consuming to log out and then back in every time I need to check the printer, greet a customer or use the restroom.
I’m using Windows 10.
Actually, there is a quick keyboard combination that you can use to lock your computer without logging you out.
Just press the windows logo key (the flag symbol in the bottom row of your keyboard) and the letter L.
This will lock your computer, and when you come back from the printer all you will have to do is press “enter” and type your password.
