Move Window with Keyboard

Dear Computer Lady,

I LOVE your newsletter. I’m USUALLY able to figure out things for myself, but this time, NO LUCK.

In trying to help someone else, I have made everything on my desktop LARGE!!! When I right click on the desktop and click the “PROPERTIES” tab, I can’t get down to the bottom of the page to click “APPLY” to make the “screen area” slide thing stay in place! I’ve tried re sizing that screen, but no luck. I can move it left and right and down from the bottom, but I can’t get to the bottom of the screen.

I stayed up until 2 a.m. trying to figure this out.

Dear Joslynn,

This will help.

Open the desktop properties window and make your changes. When you are ready to click the apply button, do the following:

Press the Alt key located to the left of the spacebar, then press the spacebar and then press the letter M.

Now, use your arrow keys to move the window around on your screen. When you have it so you can see the “Apply” button, press the Enter key.
